Questions, problems, accessibility and how to reach a human.

If you need help right now

Green Serenity is an educational well-being resource, not a crisis service, and nobody monitors it in real time.

  • 112 — the emergency number throughout the European Union, free from any phone. Use it if you or someone else is in immediate danger.
  • 116 123 — the number reserved across the EU for emotional-support helplines. It is operating in many European countries, though not yet in all of them.
  • 116 111 — the EU-reserved number for child helplines, again available in many countries.

If those numbers do not connect where you are, your local health service or a trusted adult is the right next step.

Contact us

Write to info@green-serenity.com. We read everything, and we aim to reply within five working days.

It helps enormously if you can tell us your device (for example "iPhone 13, iOS 18"), the language you use the app in, and what you expected to happen instead of what did.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. Green Serenity has no sign-up, no login and no password. Install it and everything is available immediately. We never ask for your name or your email address.

Does it cost anything?

No. The app is free, there are no purchases inside it, no subscription and no adverts. It is funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes. The guides, stories, tutorials and gallery are included in the app itself, so it works fully offline. This is deliberate — Green Serenity is meant to be used outdoors, where having no signal is normal rather than exceptional.

When you do have a connection, the app quietly checks for newer material and adds anything the project has published since your last look.

How do I get the newest content?

Pull down on any list to refresh it. The app also checks for new content by itself when you return to it, at most once every fifteen minutes, so it stays current without draining your battery or your data allowance.

How do I change the language?

Open Settings in the app and choose from the nine available languages: English, Italiano, ქართული, Lietuvių, Português, Română, Svenska, Türkçe and Українська. Your choice is remembered.

If something has not been translated into your language yet, the app shows the English version rather than an empty screen.

The text is too small (or too large)

Open Settings and move the text-size slider. The app keeps your choice and applies it everywhere. On small screens it starts at a slightly reduced size so that layouts do not crowd — you can override that at any time.

A video will not play

Usually one of three things:

  • No connection. Some videos stream from our servers. Reconnect and try again, or use the material that is stored in the app.
  • A slow network. Video is the heaviest thing in the app; give it a moment on a weak connection.
  • Very low storage. Free some space on your device and reopen the app.

If it keeps happening, tell us which video and which device.

How do I jump to a particular page of a guide?

Open a guide and tap the page indicator at the bottom of the screen — the one showing which page you are on. Type the page you want and the guide moves straight there.

Can I use this material in my own work?

Yes — that is why it exists. The guides and tutorials are made for youth workers, social workers, psychologists, counsellors and trainers to use in practice. Please credit the project and its Erasmus+ funding. See the terms of use for the detail.

Is my information private?

There is almost nothing to keep private. The app collects no personal data, contains no analytics or advertising, and stores your settings only on your own device. Our privacy policy sets out precisely what our server sees, which amounts to an IP address in a log that is deleted after fourteen days.

How do I delete my data?

Uninstalling the app removes everything it has stored, because none of it lives anywhere else. Step-by-step instructions for iPhone and Android are on Your data.

Accessibility

Green Serenity is used by people under stress, sometimes outdoors in bright light, sometimes on old or small phones. The app includes:

This website is built to the same intent: it works without JavaScript, respects your system's reduced-motion preference, keeps a visible keyboard focus outline, and is readable at any width down to a small phone.

If any part of the app or this site is difficult for you to use, please tell us at info@green-serenity.com. We would rather hear it than not.

Languages

The app and all its material are available in nine languages:

English Italiano ქართული Lietuvių Português Română Svenska Türkçe Українська

Correspondence is answered in English.
